Our team is currently leading a series of projects focused on modeling Carbon dynamics and Nitrate leaching at the farm-field scale, with the specific goal of supporting model-based targeted regulation in Denmark. Of course a critical challenge is the need of a scalable data infrastructure capable of supporting high-resolution policy decisions. We are looking to join or form a consortium dedicated to solving these infrastructure challenges. Specifically, we aim to design a data model that handles the complexity of agricultural systems while addressing the ethical implications of monitoring farming practices at such level (personal and georeferenced data? ). Potentially a deliverable is a common data model for Member States that bridges the gap between raw field data and policy compliance.
