Topic 1 - Data technologies and data management
We are interested in joining consortia under Topic 1: Data Technologies and Data Management, as GADOM has expertise in digital agriculture and data-driven food systems. We have project experience in national programs, ERA-NET, FutureFoods, ICT-AGRI and we have ongoing project concepts aligned with this topic.
Our research focuses on IoT-based sensing, GIS, AI/ML-based decision support, digital twins, blockchain-enabled data governance, data sharing and smart farming infrastructures. We actively work on data integration challenges, metadata harmonization, edge–cloud architectures, digital product passport and responsible AI in line with EU regulations (GDPR, Data Act, AI Act).
We are open to partnerships where we can contribute to developing interoperable data frameworks, advanced analytics, digital twins, and farmer-centered data governance models. GADOM would be pleased to collaborate as a research partner or WP leader within strong European consortia.
The Food Supply Security and Digitalization Joint Application and Research Center (GADOM), established under the coordination of Kırklareli University in partnership with Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University and Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University, is a nationally designated center specializing in food security, digital agriculture, and sustainable food systems. We focus on digital transformation, traceability, and data-driven decision-making, supporting rural development and international competitiveness while shaping innovative policies aligned with national food security priorities. Through interdisciplinary research, digital platform design, and integrated R&D activities, GADOM works to enhance resource efficiency, promote self-sufficiency, and build resilient “field-to-fork” supply chains powered by reliable data and emerging technologies.
