Topic 2 - Data-based solutions for sustainable agriculture
We are looking to join a consortium under the AGDATA 2025 call, Topic 2 – Data-based solutions for sustainable agriculture.
Building on our work with cereals and industrial crops, we have substantial field experience and research expertise in data-driven water management, water productivity and nitrogen management in both irrigated and rainfed systems. We are therefore interested in contributing as a research partner and/or Use Case partner. We can provide field trials, on-farm data on management–yield–quality, agronomic performance assessments, and integration of climate and soil information.
We would be pleased to collaborate with partners developing digital agriculture solutions, AI/EO-based decision support tools and agricultural data platforms. We are ready to contribute a Turkey-based Use Case focusing on climate-resilient production systems that use water and nutrients efficiently.
We are an academic agronomy team based at the Faculty of Agriculture, Atatürk University (www.atauni.edu.tr), one of the leading public universities in Türkiye and a long established centre for agricultural sciences. The Faculty hosts extensive experimental fields and research farms under both irrigated and rainfed conditions, as well as modern laboratories for soil, plant and water analyses.
We routinely combine classical agronomy with data-driven approaches, integrating field measurements with climate and soil information and, where possible, digital and remote-sensing tools to support on-farm decision-making.
Atatürk University has a long track record of collaboration with national stakeholders and active participation in competitive national and international projects. Building on this institutional capacity and regional network, we are ready to act as a reliable research and Use Case partner within AGDATA Topic 2.
