Topic 2 - Data-based solutions for sustainable agriculture
Dear colleagues,
We are looking to join a consortium for the AgDATA call 2025, Topic 2: Data-based solutions for sustainable agriculture.
IEEC carries out research with high technological maturity in the field of space data for precision agriculture. Our activities include:
- Soil moisture detection: Understanding soil moisture is critical for optimizing irrigation, improving crop yield, and reducing water use in cereal cultivation and other crops.
- Machine learning for satellite data enhancement: We develop AI-based methods to increase the resolution and usability of Earth Observation data at the local scale, making satellite information actionable for farmers and agricultural stakeholders.
- Integration of multi-source satellite data: Leveraging data from different EO missions to provide comprehensive insights into crop and soil conditions.
We are seeking partners with complementary expertise in areas such as agronomy, precision farming technologies, agricultural IoT, and data analytics to form a strong consortium for this call.
