Topic 2 - Data-based solutions for sustainable agriculture
We are reaching out to invite you to collaborate on an exciting opportunity under the AgData Joint Call (ICT-AGRI-FOOD), which aims to accelerate the digital and green transformation of agriculture through data-driven solutions.
I am DR. Mehmet Tahsin Şahin, a faculty member in the Department of Geography at Akdeniz University, located in Antalya, Türkiye. Our team has significant experience in international research projects and is deeply engaged in initiatives that combine advanced technologies, data analytics, and sustainability goals. In recent years, we have also worked on projects involving AI-integrated robotic systems for agriculture.
Moreover, we have provided consultancy services for various projects in the past, which has given us strong expertise in this field. Being part of Akdeniz University, one of Türkiye’s leading universities, we are eager to join this call as a partner and contribute to a successful proposal.
The project we aim to develop is titled:
“Autonomous Multi-Robot Fleet Management and Data-Driven Optimization for Sustainable Agriculture and Logistics”
This project addresses key priorities of the call, including:
FAIR Data Management and interoperability
AI-driven decision support systems
Digital solutions for resource efficiency and sustainability
Our goal is to integrate autonomous robotic systems with advanced data analytics to improve agricultural productivity, reduce environmental impact, and support policy monitoring. If you are interested, we would be delighted to schedule an online meeting to discuss the details and explore how we can work together to meet the objectives of this international program. We look forward to your positive response and the opportunity to build a strong partnership that benefits both countries.
Based on our past experiences, and as an internationally recognized organization, we are ready to demonstrate our potential in these types of calls for proposals, thanks to our emphasis on R&D areas and the innovative structure of our faculty in agriculture.
