Topic 2 - Data-based solutions for sustainable agriculture
We are looking to collaborate on Topic 2 (and partly Topic 1) to integrate FMIS data, soil data, and IoT/remote sensing information into advanced environmental footprint models and farmer decision-support tools. Our interest is to co-develop:
-FMIS–sustainability integrations enabling real-time GHG, nutrient, and carbon metrics
-Soil and carbon modelling, including integration of soil samples and lab data
-Data-driven decision support for regenerative and climate-smart farming
-New business models for farmers, such as carbon or nature-based credits
-Use Cases that combine field data, sustainability KPIs, and supply-chain reporting
-Interoperability frameworks connecting FMIS, IoT, satellite data, and sustainability models
We seek partners such as FMIS platforms, IoT/RS providers, research institutes, and organisations building AI-based agricultural DSS. Sproutfull can contribute environmental modelling, FMIS data pipelines, LCA expertise, and WP leadership.
Sproutfull is a Dutch agri-tech company specialised in farm-level environmental footprinting and FMIS data integration. We develop software that automatically converts farm activity data (from herd, feed, manure, and field operations) into real-time sustainability indicators, such as GHG emissions, carbon balances, nutrient flows, and product-level footprints.
Our platform integrates directly with leading Farm Management Systems such as Uniform-Agri and Others, enabling seamless data flows and reducing the reporting burden for farmers and processors. We combine Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), agricultural modelling, soil and carbon expertise, and scalable data engineering to deliver scientifically robust and user-friendly decision tools.
Sproutfull is currently coordinating an EU-supported project on dairy sustainability measurement, FMIS interoperability, and environmental modelling, and has prior experience contributing to European research projects.
Our mission is to empower farmers and agri-food companies with practical, data-driven insights that support climate-smart management, regenerative practices, and new environmental revenue models such as carbon or nature credits.
