We are interested in strategic research cooperation on data technologies and AI-based cyber-physical systems for smart farming, including UAV-based data acquisition, real-time sensor fusion, energy-efficient embedded AI, and digital twin architectures for data-driven decision support and plant phenotyping.
Hamm-Lippstadt University of Applied Sciences (HSHL) is a research-oriented public university with a strong focus on applied engineering sciences, information technology, and interdisciplinary innovation. The university’s research integrates engineering and natural science expertise with applied computer science, fostering collaborative projects with industry and scientific partners and aligning with national and European innovation strategies. HSHL engages students early in research and knowledge transfer activities, strengthening regional and international cooperation. Building on this foundation, our group specializes in data technologies, AI-driven cyber-physical systems, energy-efficient embedded intelligence, real-time data acquisition, sensor fusion and digital twin architectures, with applications in smart farming, precision agriculture, autonomous systems, and sustainability-oriented digitalisation.
